About
Adam Gramegna is a We Are The Mighty Contributor covering geopolitical strategy, military technology, and history, and serves as a dedicated military/veteran correspondent. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Infantry just three days after the September 11th attacks, beginning a combat career that included deployments to Kosovo, Iraq, and two tours in Afghanistan. This extensive service record allows him to bring a sardonic tone to his writing, cutting through official jargon to deliver the unfiltered reality to the military community.
Currently based in North Carolina, Adam balances his editorial work with research at American University’s School of Public Affairs, where he focuses on national security policy. Beyond the keyboard, he is a fierce advocate for ending veteran homelessness, planning to continue that mission through non-profit service. When not analyzing foreign air defense systems or dissecting military pay charts, Adam can be found hiking/running or volunteering wherever he can.
