Beat Army." above the title "Big Decks" in large gold letters, and "Go America" below.](<https://www.wearethemighty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Untitled-design-2024-11-22T144818.922.png>)
*Big Deck Energy!*

Well, if that wasn't the most clickbaity title of all time, we're not sure what is, but it says more about you than us since you opened this article! Either way, we're glad you're here to see Navy's newest 2024 Spirit Spot, as directed by the one and only Rylan Tuohy. So what differentiates this Spirit Spot from other Tuohy classics like, “We Give a Ship" and "Naptown Funk?" He crowdfunded the production. That's right, Tuohy took to the interwebs to raise money to fund the making of this Spirit Spot. With 521 backers pledging $73,916, it's no wonder this feels less like it was shot on an old iPhone in a basement and like an actual, real life, adult production (let's be honest, the only way Tuohy rolls). The new Spot is equal parts impressive *and* hilarious.

When WATM asked Tuohy why he was campaigning for this Spirit Spot to happen, he explained, “The Army-Navy football game is about the rivalry, but it’s also about the camaraderie. Unique only to the service academies are spirit spots, and since the advent of YouTube, they have been created to rally support and encourage a sense of community. I think that pride is as important as the game. If I can help foster that spirit with a hilarious and hopefully viral video, then I’m all in.”
