About We Are The Mighty
We Are The Mighty is a military and veteran-oriented lifestyle publication and Emmy-award-winning media agency with a mission to entertain, inform, and support our community. We champion America’s soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, guardians, and Coast Guardsmen, National Guard and Reserves, for the entirety of their lives. From before they decide to join the military to long after they receive their DD-214, We Are The Mighty recognizes the need for special attention and information—not just for the military member, but for their entire extended family.
We also recognize that the military-veteran community extends to civilian supporters who might never have served or may not even know a veteran, but support the community with their time, money, votes, or vocal support. We Are The Mighty is here to help inform that support.
The military community is just like most American communities across the nation. We just have a very unique job with unique responsibilities that come to us at an early age. It affects much of what we do, even long after we leave military service. There is no single race, religion, or creed that can define us, and the bonds formed through service last for the rest of our lives. All of this creates a distinctive culture—one that can’t be faked, improvised, or repeated—without having served.
