Continuing the theme of pride of all things red, white and blue – the three hosts will continue the coverage on the holiday, too. featuring interviews with members of the military, including retired Navy Seal Mike Sarraille, co-founder of Legacy Expeditions. Army veteran and owner of Grill Your Ass Off, Jason Murff, will join the party for a live grilling demo.

Grill Your Ass Off was recently featured on Forbes, Fox Business, and was named the Veteran Owned Small Business of the Year for 2022 by the American Freedom Fund. He also began a partnership with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum for a BBQ sauce with 50% of the profits going towards The Independence Fund

The nonprofit organization has a mission of restoring the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual independence of America’s veterans.

“I’m thrilled to join the folks at FOX News for the ultimate barbeque. Every day I remain grateful for my time in uniform and spending the day thinking about those who came before me to build the foundation of freedom for all is humbling,” Murff said. “My time in the Old Guard brought a different level of appreciation for what it means to be an American.”

Later, singer Katie Linendoll will perform her hit song Your Hands live.  The 4th of July special will include live fireworks from both New York City and Washington, D.C., along with many more patriotic musical performances and themed highlights related to American freedom.

After the fireworks display, viewers can tune into Home of the Brave. Hosted by FOX & Friends Weekend co-host and veteran Army Infantry Captain Pete Hegseth, the program will feature FOX News contributors as they highlight the figures who have made them proud to be Americans.

"Being part of Proud American on FOX News is always one of my favorite assignments of the year," Hegseth shared. "We vow to be the most patriotic programming on TV, make your heart swell with American pride and honor all those who protect, defend and advance the greatest country in the world."

Contributing throughout the hour will be correspondent Benjamin Hall, The Story’s Martha MacCallum, Cross Country’s Lawrence Jones, Outnumbered Co-Host Emily Compagno and Jones. And finally, folks can head over to FOX News Audio for special podcasts recognizing Independence Day.
